About
I obtained my doctorate in 1996 from Simon Fraser University after completing an internship at Harvard Medical School. As a postdoctoral fellow, I worked with a research team at the University of California Berkeley, studying personality and social development across the lifespan.
In addition to a clinical practice of over 25 years, professional employment has included running a community crisis and suicide prevention program, managing and teaching in a training clinic for graduate level psychology students, and a senior administrative position in the regulation of the profession.
I have training in psychodynamic, interpersonal, experiential, cognitive-behavioural, and dialectical behavioral therapies.
